My name is Milan Stria.

My grandfather painted and I remember his attic room as it is today. You can't forget the palettes full of dried colors, I just couldn't help myself..
Even as a child I felt that I was different from other children. I had to have everything carefully arranged and I had to keep things in complete order. If possible, I chose toys based on how I liked their packaging. It was then displayed on the shelf and I was not interested in the toy itself...

"The feeling of imperfection does not leave me calm."

I've traveled and lived abroad for practically my entire life. I started painting in America and then in Ireland with oil paints and put my paintings in live auctions.

"Once, when I asked who took my painting, they told me it was the drummer from Snow Patrol."


After returning from the world, life changed and painting went by the wayside..
Now I am returning to this infinity, even with my new technique. In order to better materialize my experiences, stories, thoughts, fantasies and dreams, I had to go somewhere further and I think I finally succeeded.
I work with resin, paints, pigments, various objects and actually all possible materials with which in my eyes I gradually work my way up to my imaginary perfection of each work.
I try to work with the highest quality materials. Whether it is penetrations, the basic substrates are top quality resins. Pigments and paints are top of the range and have beautiful packaging..:-) As for the objects and things in the paintings, I modify, make, buy some and there are also completely unique or valuable objects.
The result is original design paintings with real objects for modern interiors. Almost every one of them comes with a story, a memory or an idea.
I carefully select or make objects and things for paintings. In some paintings there are new things, where I need energy from an older date, there it is released from old things that people used..

"These things will then get a chance to come to life again."

However, I leave the final game to the new owner. Some will be reminded of me with a memory, some will simply like the idea and originality, and someone else will appreciate the play of reflections and shadows from the objects in perfect lighting.
It is actually an endless game in an endless world and I am happy to be a part of it.

"I am fascinated by colors and their combinations. The adrenaline that comes at the first contact with a new painting injects a serum substance into me that is not of this world."

There are as many topics and ideas as the world around us offers and time is running inexorably.
